Thursday 3+ in the Mournes – Carricklittle, Slievelamagan. Cove Mountain was originally on the route, but due to deteriorating conditions was bypassed. That decision resulted in a slip slide down to Cove Lough. Photos give good impression. Thanks to Brendan for stepping into the leadership role due to Michael’s illness. 7 overnighters took the ferry from Carlingford to Greencastle and 10 travelled from Dublin for the day. The 3s battled the elements on Slieve Foy on Wednesday and Thursday.
