As most of the 3+s were in West Cork and no hikes scheduled for Wicklow 4 of us decided to take a run up to the Mournes for the day on Thursday. Michael planned and led the hike in the western Mournes taking in Hen Mountain, Cock Mountain, Pidgeon Mountain, Slieve Moughanmore and Eagle Mountain. The day was perfect with fantastic visibility over land and sea. See photo for route, stats and landscape.
