Grade 4 admiring Glassamucky Mountain Bullan stone .
Thanks to our leader Frances Leahy.

( I hope it is that Bullan stone !!!! it is better to ask Frances )

A bullan stone is the term used for the depression in a stone which is often water filled.
It is generally thought that a Bullan stone dates from the Bronze Age but that one is believed to be much older.
Local folklore often attaches religious or magical signification to Bullan stones such as the belief that the rain water in a hollow’s stone has healing properties. ( WikipediA )
