A mixed group of grade 2s and 3+s enjoyed a fantastic day on the 28th December on the Coomloughra Horseshoe taking in Beenkeragh, Carrauntoohil and Cather from the Hydro Road car park. Geraldine Cleary organised the core 2s group with Joe Byrne and they were joined for the day by a few Thursday 3+s who were in the area on holidays (total of 9 on Wednesday). There were plans for walks for the most of the week with people joining and leaving on different days. The photos below, courtesy of Joe, Sean and Terry, are from the 1st day’s hiking.
